On March 15, the kickoff ceremony for the second Annual Quality Month event—themed "Strengthen Awareness, Ensure Quality, Reduce Complaints, and Drive Satisfaction"—was held simultaneously at the company headquarters and the API production facility. Once again, Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group has entered its annual "quality benchmarking period." The event announced that the 2019 "Quality Month" campaign would run across the entire company from March 15 to April 30, during which time a GMP-related knowledge competition will also take place.

Following the successful outcomes of the first "Quality Month" event, the second Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group "Quality Month" campaign has once again taken place as scheduled, eagerly anticipated by everyone—this time exactly one year later. This year’s initiative fully aligns with the national call to action, focusing closely on the company’s 2019 quality objectives and launching comprehensive efforts to enhance quality. Upholding a commitment to quality as the top priority, the campaign aims to drive a holistic improvement in the organization’s quality management practices.

Lin Hong, Deputy General Manager of the Quality Department, emphasized at the conference that we must tackle the "key issue" driving quality development and pursue a strategy focused on achieving success through superior quality. She urged everyone to seize the opportunity presented by the "Quality Month" campaign, leveraging it to enhance overall quality awareness across the organization through diverse safety and quality education initiatives. Lin Hong also stressed that all departments should rigorously implement the latest version of GMP management standards, strengthen quality control throughout the entire pharmaceutical production process, and carefully analyze past, representative quality incidents—learning from each case to prevent similar issues in the future. Drawing on their own unique circumstances, teams should proactively identify potential problems, address them promptly, and ensure effective implementation of corrective actions, ultimately making the "Quality Month" initiative truly impactful.

Finally, Executive Deputy General Manager Chen An announced the launch of the event and delivered a closing speech. He emphasized that the "Quality Month" initiative must go beyond mere formalities—it needs to be deeply integrated into every role, especially on the front lines of production. He urged everyone to fully grasp the "law of the barrel," identifying and addressing the "shortest plank" to eliminate weaknesses. By fostering a company-wide culture where everyone is mindful of quality and actively committed to improving it, we can significantly elevate our organization's overall quality management standards.

To truly enhance quality awareness across the entire organization, the company will produce a pocket-sized series of books titled "Good Manufacturing Practice Guidelines and Related Appendices" during the "Quality Month" campaign, making it convenient for employees to study. Employees will participate in focused training sessions on the latest GMP management principles, as well as regulations from ICH, the EU, and the FDA. In addition, in-depth workshops will be conducted on change management and OOS (Out-of-Specification) handling, with an emphasis on hands-on practice to ensure staff fully grasp the document guidelines and master the procedures for managing changes and OOS incidents. Furthermore, the company will leverage various communication channels—such as the company newsletter, bulletin boards, WeChat official accounts, and motivational slogans—to widely promote quality initiatives, fostering a robust quality culture and driving the comprehensive implementation of our quality improvement program.
