He also worked to address challenges and issues encountered during the company’s growth. Accompanying him were Zhou Rixing, Deputy Secretary-General of the Provincial Government; Zhang Xiaoqiang, Acting Mayor of Taizhou City; Xu Renbiao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Wenling Municipal Party Committee; and Wang Zongming, Mayor of Wenling City. Group Chairman Zhao Shouming warmly welcomed the delegation.

Vice Governor Feng Fei and his delegation visited the company’s exhibition hall and held a symposium, during which they learned about Wanbande Group’s product strategy in the pharmaceutical sector, its innovations in drug development, and the introduction of cutting-edge technologies for the industrialization of high-end orthopedic implantable medical devices. Chairman Zhao Shouming provided a detailed report on the group’s growth journey, industry layout, and operational performance, highlighting how recent investments and mergers have enabled the company to acquire premium products and advanced technologies, driving strategic restructuring and transformation while accelerating the development of new products and the adoption of innovative technologies. These efforts have significantly enhanced the company’s core competitiveness, earning high praise and recognition from Vice Governor Feng Fei.

Vice Governor Feng Fei stated that in recent years, China’s per capita healthcare expenditure has continued to rise, while the pharmaceutical industry has experienced rapid and steady growth. He added that the consistent support from national policies has served as a powerful boost for pharmaceutical companies' development. He pointed out that companies enjoying favorable growth trends typically share several common traits: first, they actively push forward industrial structure adjustments; second, they significantly ramp up their efforts in scientific and technological innovation; and third, they enhance their core competitiveness within the industry. Currently, competition between domestic and foreign pharmaceutical firms has entered a fiercely competitive phase. To stay ahead, companies must intensify their investments in areas such as talent acquisition, R&D, product innovation, and brand building. At the same time, they should strengthen innovation at the application level, proactively develop products that offer distinctive competitive advantages, and continuously drive industrial restructuring—ultimately paving the way for enterprises to transform, upgrade, and thrive in an increasingly dynamic market environment.

During the symposium, Chairman Zhao Shouming also reported on the practical challenges and issues encountered during the company's development. Vice Governor Feng Fei emphasized that governments at all levels and relevant departments should pay close attention and promptly coordinate to resolve the difficulties and problems faced by enterprises, thereby creating a favorable environment for business growth.
