On January 30, Zhu Minglian, Executive Deputy Mayor of Wenling City, visited Wanbangde Group to personally address the challenges and difficulties the company has encountered during its development. She emphasized that Wenling City is committed to fostering a favorable environment for business growth, revitalizing the real economy, easing the burden on enterprises, and boosting their vitality—ensuring that companies can truly benefit from the government’s supportive policies and high-quality services. Leaders from Wenling City’s General Office, Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Bureau of Land and Resources, Bureau of Construction and Planning, Bureau of Environmental Protection, New Urban District Administration, as well as representatives from various townships and subdistricts, also attended the meeting.
Zhu Minglian and his delegation visited the Medical Device R&D Center, bearing production workshop, and corporate showroom under Wanbande Group, where they listened to the group’s vision for building a comprehensive medical device industry chain and establishing an industry incubation base. They also learned about the company’s ambitious blueprint for developing a "Internet+"-powered, precision-service-oriented healthcare sector. Additionally, they inquired about the challenges and issues the group has encountered during its growth and development.
Chairman Zhao Shouming highlighted the challenges, particularly land-related issues, encountered in advancing several high-quality projects under Wanbangde Group. He emphasized that the group’s “China-Africa Science and Technology Park” project, along with its bearing projects, are key initiatives aimed at driving the company’s strategic shift toward supply-side structural adjustments and fostering industrial upgrading and transformation. These projects play a vital role in reshaping Wenling City’s industrial landscape and boosting the development of cutting-edge, high-end industrial infrastructure in the region. Mr. Zhao noted that after more than a year of meticulous preparation, Wanbangde Group is now fully equipped to commence construction on these projects, having secured robust financial backing, cutting-edge technological expertise, and a talented workforce. However, he underscored that the immediate priority now is for the government to facilitate the resolution of critical land-related matters, as well as streamline the necessary approval and permitting processes. He expressed hope that relevant government departments will provide favorable policy support to ensure the smooth and timely implementation of these groundbreaking projects.
At the meeting, Executive Vice Mayor Zhu Minglian engaged in an in-depth discussion with department heads on the land-related issues of Wanbangde Group, clearly identifying the responsible departments and outlining a detailed implementation timeline. This demonstrated the government leaders' efficient and pragmatic approach, effectively addressing the company's concerns and providing much-needed support—leaving the enterprise feeling inspired and energized!
Vice Mayor Zhu Minglian stated: "One of the government's key responsibilities is to find innovative ways to help businesses overcome their challenges. We’ve been actively working to address the land-use issues faced by both established companies looking to expand and emerging enterprises seeking growth opportunities. As a leading private-sector enterprise in Wenling City, Wanbangde Group has encountered significant difficulties in securing land for its new major industrial projects. To support them, we will prioritize including their needs in the annual land supply plan. All relevant departments must collaborate closely, enhance communication and coordination, take full ownership of their roles, streamline approval processes, and significantly reduce the time required at each stage—ensuring that valuable time is freed up for businesses to drive forward and revitalize the real economy."
