As human societies and economies continue to develop, people are increasingly eager for improvements in their quality of life. Age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD), characterized by memory decline, severely impact individuals’ daily living standards, placing significant financial and emotional burdens on families and society. Moreover, these conditions negatively affect societal progress and the effort to build a harmonious socialist society. Consequently, drugs designed to treat memory impairment are poised to have a vast market potential.

On June 12, Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, for the "New Alzheimer's Drug FN12" project. Moving forward, Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group will invest heavily in collaborating with the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica to jointly advance all aspects of the project, including clinical trials and regulatory approvals for the innovative Alzheimer's drug FN12.

The new Alzheimer's drug, FN12, is a breakthrough developed by the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica after years of dedicated research. Targeting the unique characteristics of Alzheimer's disease, it is clinically approved for treating both Alzheimer's and early-onset dementia, effectively improving patients' memory, cognitive abilities, and behavioral functions.
