The July sun blazed brightly as the Communist Party of China celebrated its 103rd anniversary. With hearts full of reverence, members of the Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group’s Party branch embarked on a journey to visit the historic memorial site of the Sanmen Ting Red Uprising.
Climbing the steps upward, the Monument to the Uprising stands proudly beside the pavilion. Before the monument, party members stood solemnly in silence, observing a moment of mourning and laying fresh flowers—a heartfelt tribute expressing their deep respect and remembrance for the martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the cause. Following this, led by the Party branch secretary, the members raised their right fists high and collectively reaffirmed their入党誓词 (oath of joining the Party), solemnly vowing to remain steadfast in their faith and dedicate their lives to the communist cause. Their voices were firm and resolute, each word brimming with unwavering loyalty to the Party and a hopeful vision for the future.
Red Square
In the center of the square stands a vibrant red thematic statue titled "Zhejiang’s First Red Flag Flies." On May 26, 1928, the Tingpang Uprising erupted, marking the establishment of Zhejiang's first Soviet-style government—thus giving rise to the iconic symbol "Zhejiang’s First Red Flag Flies." Since then, the "red legacy" has taken deep root in the beautiful land of Tingpang.

Led by a docent, they explored five thematic exhibition panels—titled "Decision," "Choice," "Gathering Momentum," "Outbreak," and "Spark"—which provided a deeper understanding of how the Tingpang Uprising fired the first shot of armed resistance against the reactionary Kuomintang regime in Zhejiang, marking the establishment of the province's first Soviet-style revolutionary government. Through this journey, they revisited the arduous and inspiring years of struggle led by revolutionary forebears, honored the extraordinary heroism of those who came before, and remained steadfast in upholding the noble legacy left behind by these trailblazers.
