To fully leverage the role of employee representatives in democratic management and oversight, safeguard employees' legitimate rights and interests, and continuously improve the company's management mechanisms, the 4th Session, 3rd Employee Congress of Wanbande Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. was successfully held on December 30. Attending the meeting were Lin Hong, Deputy General Manager; Wang Tianfang, Chief Financial Officer; Jiang Dong, Deputy General Manager; Qu Junbiao, Deputy General Manager, along with a total of 66 employee representatives from various departments.

The conference opened with the majestic sound of the national anthem of the People's Republic of China.
Comrade Xu Haimi, Chairman of the Trade Union, delivered the "2023 Annual Work Summary Report of the Trade Union" on behalf of the Trade Union Committee at the conference.

The report highlights that over the past year, the company's trade union steadfastly aligned its work with the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress, diligently implementing the directives from higher-level local trade unions. With strong support and attention from the company's Party branch and management team, the union effectively fulfilled its four core functions—protection, development, participation, and education—and successfully launched initiatives such as the "Sunshine Project," "Warmth Project," "Harmony Project," and "Cultural Project," thereby ushering in a new chapter for union activities.
After a show-of-hands vote by all delegates, the conference unanimously approved the 2023 Annual Trade Union Summary Report delivered by Comrade Xu Haimi on behalf of the company’s Fourth Trade Union Committee.
At the meeting, all delegates carefully discussed and reviewed two key documents: the draft "Implementation Details of the Employee Congress System for Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group" and the revised version of the "WP-D-02-08 Employee Positive and Negative Incentive Management System." Both documents were approved by a show-of-hands vote.

At the end of the meeting, Lin Hong, Deputy General Manager of the company, delivered a key speech. On behalf of the company, she shared three hopes for the union's new initiatives next year, encouraging everyone to work together toward these goals.

First, we hope that the union organization will stay grounded in the realities of the enterprise, independently carry out its work around the company’s core tasks, and actively explore fresh ideas and innovative approaches for union activities in the coming year. This way, the union can ensure both employee and organizational satisfaction, while proactively guiding and leading employees to contribute positively to the company’s operations and management—and ultimately offering valuable insights and recommendations to support the enterprise’s growth and development.
Second, we hope that trade union organizations will further broaden channels for democratic management, strengthen employees' sense of participation, and fully leverage the unions' roles in engagement, development, and education. At the same time, we urge them to adhere to the work principle of "relying on and serving employees," safeguarding workers' legitimate rights and interests while fostering a culture of democratic management.
Third, we hope to deeply engage in a variety of activities that reflect the unique characteristics of the union itself, fully leveraging the organization's cohesive and unifying power. By delivering practical benefits and addressing employees' real needs, we aim to build the union into a "Workers' Home" that employees can trust. Additionally, the union should utilize effective platforms to enrich employees' leisure and cultural lives, injecting vitality and energy into the company's growth and development.
Looking back at our achievements inspires us to move forward, while looking ahead reminds us of the heavy responsibility resting on our shoulders. The 4th Session, 3rd Employee Congress of Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. successfully concluded all its agenda items in an atmosphere of democracy, unity, and determination to strive for excellence.
The Employee Representative Assembly serves as the "main vehicle" for the company to build its employee democracy initiative, acting as a "catalyst" that empowers workers to exercise their democratic rights. The convening of the assembly has further strengthened the confidence and resolve of employee representatives, inspiring everyone to embrace a fresh mindset, take on new responsibilities, and deliver tangible results—working together in unity to pool ideas and collaboratively shape a visionary blueprint for the company’s high-quality growth.
