Since the launch of Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group’s 5th “Quality Month” campaign on September 21, departments across the company have enthusiastically responded to the call and actively participated in various activities. On October 24, the QCC selection event was successfully held, with attendance from several senior leaders, including Lin Hong, Deputy General Manager; Ma Jian, Deputy General Manager; Jiang Dong, Deputy General Manager; Qu Junbiao, Deputy General Manager; Hu Gensheng, Assistant to the General Manager; and Tang Bo, Deputy General Manager of the API Division, who also served as on-site judges for the competition.

QCC activities involve conducting improvement initiatives focused on a company’s business development, strategic goals, and issues present in the workplace. These efforts aim to enhance quality, reduce energy consumption, elevate employee skills, and boost overall economic efficiency. The selected topics fall into categories such as "On-site," "Service-oriented," "Technical," and "Management-focused." In alignment with this month’s Quality Month theme, all QCC project ideas chosen this time are directly tied to enhancing product quality, improving service delivery, cutting quality-related costs, and driving innovation in quality transformation.
This year's QCC competition brought together 15 teams. After a draw determined the presentation order, each team's presenter shared a comprehensive report on their QCC activities using various formats, such as PPTs, videos, and photo galleries. Following the presentations, every team was invited to receive feedback from a designated judge, and the competition judges provided on-the-spot scoring.

After a compelling presentation and insightful commentary, four winning teams stood out from the rest.

QC Division One's "Flawless Team—Enhancing Efficiency and Accuracy in Test Result Calculations" Wins First Prize

The R&D Center's "R&D Analysis Team—Improving the Efficiency of Preparing Huperzine A Impurity B at the Analysis Center" wins the Second Prize.

The QA Department's "007 QC Team—Improving Efficiency in Locating Retained Samples" and the Injection Workshop No. 2's "Injection Workshop No. 2 Quality Improvement Team—Increasing the Finished Product Pass Rate of Huperzine A Injection" both received third prize.

The remaining participating teams received participation awards.
At the end of the event, Deputy General Manager Lin Hong fully praised the improvement projects and team performances showcased during the competition, expressing confidence that by pooling collective wisdom and working together with dedication, any challenge can be effortlessly overcome.
Meanwhile, General Manager Lin also expressed the hope that:
First, embrace innovation and forge ahead with unwavering dedication. In our future efforts, we will encourage the active participation of all employees in quality management, fully leveraging their potential, enthusiasm, and creativity.
Second, consistently use data to illustrate facts and apply scientific methods to analyze and solve problems;
Third, always keep risk awareness top of mind, strengthen prevention efforts, strive for excellence, and continuously enhance product quality, management standards, and customer satisfaction.
Finally, we hope the QCC activities can become a regular, sustainable mechanism—continuously refined and implemented—so that the outcomes of these initiatives are effectively integrated into production and quality management, truly demonstrating their value. At the same time, by grounding our efforts in quality awareness, we will strengthen all aspects of quality development, driving our quality management practices to even greater heights. This will not only help reduce production costs and boost efficiency but also enable the company to achieve greater profitability.
