On January 13, 2022, Wang Wenxu, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, visited the Wanbangde China-Africa Science and Technology Industrial Park for an inspection, accompanied by Guan Wenxin, Vice Mayor of Taizhou City, and Lin Qiang, Mayor of Wenling City.

Vice Governor Wang Wenxu and his delegation visited the China-Africa Science and Technology Industrial Park, touring the medical device showroom, the syringe production workshop, and the intelligent automated warehouse. During the visit, Chairman Zhao Shouming provided a detailed overview of Wanbangde's product portfolio, the company’s corporate history, and its groundbreaking research achievements, while also highlighting the industrial plan for the China-Africa Science and Technology Industrial Park.

The Wanbangde China-Africa Technology Industrial Park broke ground in 2019 as part of Wanbangde Group’s response to the nation’s “Belt and Road” initiative. It serves as a flagship industrial base, jointly leveraging medical technologies from China and South Africa to foster a mutually beneficial, "win-win" cycle of cooperation between China and Africa. Positioned as a highly automated, information-driven, and intelligent hub, the park is designed to become an integrated "complex" for medical device R&D, manufacturing, and sales. Its product portfolio spans multiple medical sectors, including orthopedics, polymer-based solutions, and protective equipment—making it a key provincial project in Zhejiang Province.

Vice Governor Wang Wenxu expressed high appreciation for Wanbangde Medical Devices' products and encouraged the company to continue leveraging its product strengths, step up R&D efforts, seize emerging opportunities, and uphold a balanced focus on innovation and quality—ultimately driving the enterprise toward high-quality, sustainable growth.
