He noted that the nation is currently providing strong support for scientific research and technological development in Traditional Chinese Medicine. To seize these opportunities and drive innovative growth, the alliance has already achieved significant scientific breakthroughs in the past year. Moving forward, Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group will continue to ramp up its investment in research, further exploring the numerous valuable applications of Ginkgo biloba leaves. At the meeting, Chairman Zhao Shouming, Vice Chairman Zhuang Hui, Deputy Director Ye Xingfu from the Taizhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, and Peking University Professor Tu Pengfei also presented appointment letters to the newly added experts of the alliance.

Following this, experts from the alliance delivered thematic presentations on Ginkgo Biloba Dropping Pills, covering four key areas: ingredient research, quality control, pharmacological mechanisms, and clinical evidence-based medicine. Topics included "Smart Manufacturing Practices and Exploration of Ginkgo Biloba Dropping Pills," "In Vivo and In Vitro Metabolism Studies and Mechanism of Pharmacological Effects of Ginkgo Biloba Dropping Pills," "Research Plan on Ginkgo Biloba Dropping Pills for Optic Nerve Disorders," "Ginkgo Biloba Dropping Pills in Dual-Heart Medicine—A Discussion Focused on Heart Failure Comorbid Depression," and "Progress in Clinical Pathway Interpretation and Recommendations for Ginkgo Biloba Dropping Pills in Cerebrovascular Diseases such as Cerebral Infarction." The attending experts engaged in an in-depth discussion on the significant role Ginkgo Biloba Dropping Pills play in treating cardiovascular and cerebrovascular conditions like coronary heart disease combined with diabetes, chronic heart failure, and cerebral infarction, as well as in neurodegenerative diseases affecting the optic nerve and dual-heart medicine—a burgeoning area of medical practice. They reached a consensus on the potential of these innovative applications.

The Ginkgo Leaf Droplet Pills are a nationally exclusive patented product, recognized for their unique advantages and included in the "Clinical Pathway Interpretation" compiled by the Ministry of Health. They are also the only recommended oral ginkgo leaf product for multiple conditions—including cerebral infarction, transient ischemic attack, stable coronary artery disease, and chronic stable angina treated with interventional procedures—making them the sole ginkgo-based product endorsed in the "Chinese Expert Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases Combined with Insomnia." Additionally, these pills are the flagship demonstration research product of both the National Development and Reform Commission’s National Engineering Laboratory (the only one focused on clinical applications) and the National Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education (specializing in active components and pharmacological effects of natural medicines). Moreover, they represent the first domestically developed pharmaceutical product to emerge from the collaborative innovation alliance among medical institutions, research institutes, and enterprises—the Ginkgo Leaf Droplet Pills Medical-Research-Industry Innovation Alliance, serving as its demonstrative research model.
