On August 30, Chen Xi, Vice Mayor of Wenling City, along with a delegation, visited Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group for an on-site research and inspection. They were accompanied by Liang Haigang, Director of the Urban New Area Management Committee, and other officials, while Zhao Shouming, Chairman of the company, welcomed the group and led the tour.
During the调研, Chairman Zhao Shouming provided Vice Mayor Chen Xi with a brief overview of the company’s efforts in technological upgrades, expansion and transformation, as well as its strategic move to bring operations back home. He highlighted that since the first half of the year, the group’s headquarters has invested heavily in supporting new drug R&D initiatives and advancing bearing project construction. Notably, in June, the company acquired South African firms TMAIC and Elite, laying a robust technological foundation for its entry into the medical device industry. In addition, demonstrating its commitment to giving back to the hometown and contributing to the local healthcare sector’s growth, the group is actively preparing to relocate its subsidiaries—currently scattered across China—to Wenling. Mr. Zhao further explained that, this year, the company has remained firmly focused on its production and operational goals, adhering to the principle of "balancing both hands, ensuring strength in both areas." On one front, it prioritizes safe production, energy conservation, and environmental protection; on the other, it emphasizes innovation, quality improvement, and efficiency gains. By seamlessly integrating production expansion with enhanced internal resource integration, the company is maximizing the advantages of its existing assets, boosting resource utilization, and unlocking the full potential of its core product brands. At the same time, it’s accelerating the development of cutting-edge new products while driving forward the company’s overall transformation and upgrade.
