Vice Mayor Xiao Lihui and his delegation from Taizhou City visited and inspected Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group.

On August 23, Vice Mayor Xiao Lihui of Taizhou City and Director Chen Zemin of the Taizhou Civil Affairs Bureau visited Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group for an inspection and exchange. Liang Lingchun, Director of the Wenling Civil Affairs Bureau, accompanied the delegation. Chairman Zhao Shouming warmly welcomed Vice Mayor Xiao Lihui and his team.
Vice Mayor Xiao Lihui and his delegation toured the exhibition hall of Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group, where they listened to a detailed briefing on the company’s development journey, remarkable achievements, and its current operational status over recent years. They gained an in-depth understanding of the primary therapeutic targets and treatment scopes of the company’s flagship products, such as Ginkgo Biloba Dropping Pills and Huperzine A, and also asked carefully about the company’s efforts to introduce cutting-edge technological equipment. During the subsequent symposium, Chairman Zhao Shouming briefly outlined the company’s development plans for the next three to five years, emphasizing that everyone at Wanbangde is fully committed to advancing the preparatory work for project approval of the Wanbangde Industrial Park. He highlighted that the future park will be strategically built around six key sectors: the greater health manufacturing industry, a modern pharmaceutical logistics center, medical service institutions, elderly care and rehabilitation facilities, educational institutions, and scenic tourism areas. Notably, Chairman Zhao engaged in a focused discussion with Vice Mayor Xiao Lihui and his team regarding the specific construction plan for the elderly care and rehabilitation facilities. Chairman Zhao further emphasized that the company intends to allocate a significant portion of its profits toward investments in healthcare and education initiatives, fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by actively contributing to the cultivation of specialized medical talent in Wenling. Additionally, he underscored the company’s commitment to ensuring that seniors not only receive high-quality medical care but also genuinely benefit from the compassionate healthcare services provided by Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group. Through these efforts, Wanbangde aims to strengthen its "Wanbangde" brand in the medical and healthcare sector while making meaningful contributions to Wenling’s community.
At the meeting, Vice Mayor Xiao Lihui expressed his appreciation for the planning vision of the Wanbangde Industrial Park and strongly endorsed the company’s approach to building an integrated care-and-rehabilitation elderly care facility. He emphasized that Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group is committed to making genuine, long-term contributions to the local elderly care sector—rather than focusing solely on short-term profits—a model that deserves emulation by businesses across the board. Xiao also noted that the Taizhou Municipal Government plans to establish its own integrated care-and-rehabilitation elderly care center. He encouraged Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group to maintain close collaboration with the Taizhou government, fostering mutual learning and open dialogue as they work together to create a premier brand for elderly care services in both Taizhou City and Wenling City.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Vice Mayor Xiao Lihui and his delegation offered numerous valuable insights and suggestions for Wande Pharmaceutical Group’s further growth and development.
