Leaders from the Municipal People's Congress visit Wanbande Pharmaceutical Group to inspect the "Five Water Governance" initiative.

On the morning of May 6, Hu Chenzhong, Vice Chairman of Wenling Municipal People's Congress; Xiang Genfa, Director of the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau; Fang Haiyong, Deputy Director of the Municipal Development and Reform Bureau; Shao Junwu, Secretary of Chengdong Subdistrict Office; Lin Junying, Deputy Secretary of the Subdistrict Office; along with 18 representatives from the Chengdong Subdistrict—including local People’s Congress deputies and CPPCC members—visited Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group to conduct an on-site inspection of the "Five-Water Co-Governance" initiative.
The inspection team inspected Wanbande Pharmaceutical Group’s plant area, wastewater treatment station, and boiler room in sequence. Ye Jianguo and Xu Aiguo separately briefed the team members on the company’s implementation of the rainwater and sewage separation network renovation, the operation and management of wastewater treatment facilities, compliance of effluent discharge with standards, online monitoring of wastewater treatment processes, and the operational status of various equipment, including the conversion from coal-fired to natural gas boilers.
Hu Chenzhong and other members of the inspection team expressed their satisfaction with Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group's environmental hygiene, corporate culture, operation of its pollution-control facilities, and the implementation of the boiler-to-gas conversion project.
