Acting Mayor Li Bin visits Wanbang Pharmaceutical's new API production facility.

On the afternoon of August 19, Li Bin, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Acting Mayor, visited Wanbang Pharmaceutical's raw-materials API plant to inspect and guide the company's operations, accompanied by Shen Xingguo, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, and Zhu Yuelin, Director of the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau.
That afternoon, Mayor Li Bin visited the Shangma API production facility and, despite the scorching heat, personally inspected the ongoing construction at Wanbang Pharmaceutical's Shangma site. He then randomly entered the Bromhexine workshop to examine operations firsthand. Accompanied by Guo Yunbiao, Assistant General Manager of Wanbang Pharmaceutical, Mayor Li listened to a detailed report on the company’s business performance, including its development goals, production capacity, product portfolio, and market strategies. After hearing the briefing, Mayor Li expressed strong approval and praise for the company’s progress, growth, and strategic direction. He also emphasized that while continuing robust production and operations, Wanbang Pharmaceutical must further prioritize both operational safety and environmental protection. At one point, Mayor Li turned to Zhu Yuelin, Director of the local Environmental Protection Bureau—who was accompanying him—and remarked that the environmental agency should provide sustained guidance and support to the company, helping to lay a solid foundation for its long-term development.
