Warmest congratulations! | Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group’s Academician Workstation has been officially awarded the title of "Provincial-Level Key Academician Workstation"—the official plaque ceremony has taken place!

In October 2023, the Office of the Provincial Coordination Group for the Construction of Academician and Expert Workstations in Zhejiang Province announced the second batch of provincially supported key academician workstations across the province, and the Academician Workstation of Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group was successfully selected. It has become the only provincial-level key-supported academician workstation in Taizhou City, and also the first provincial-level key academician workstation in Taizhou.
On the morning of May 30, at the main event held in Wenling for "National Science and Technology Week" and "National Science and Technology Workers' Day," Aihemaiti Yilhamu, Member of the Wenling Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, officially unveiled the provincial-level Academician Workstation for Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group!
Academician-backed, unlocking momentum for innovative development
As early as 2015, Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group partnered with the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to establish an "Academician Expert Workstation." The workstation is led by Tang Xican, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, doctoral supervisor, and lifetime researcher at the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, CAS. In 2017, the company welcomed Academician Wang Guangji, also an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, along with his team, to spearhead the secondary development of Ginkgo Leaf Droplets. Then, in 2022, Academician Zhao Jizong, another CAS academician, joined forces with his team to further intensify collaboration on the secondary development of Huperzine A. Since its establishment, the Academician Workstation has secured a total of 10 invention patents across China, the U.S., Japan, and the European Union, and has either led or actively contributed to the formulation of four national standards.
