As mugwort sways gently in the breeze and the fragrant aroma of zongzi leaves fills the air, another Dragon Boat Festival is just around the corner. In my memories, the festival is the intricately stitched, colorful sachets lovingly crafted by Grandma, the bold, spicy realgar wine that Grandpa carefully applied to our foreheads, the handmade zongzi prepared by Mom, the bundle of mugwort hung proudly above the doorway by Dad—and, most vividly, the image of Qu Yuan from my childhood textbooks. Above all, it marks the beginning of summer’s vibrant heat. More than just a holiday, the Dragon Boat Festival is a cherished sentiment deeply rooted in tradition and family.

Handmade Fragrant Pouch Activity

On the afternoon of June 17, Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group organized a handmade sachet-making activity, bringing together 80 employees who enjoyed a cheerful and peaceful atmosphere while celebrating an engaging Dragon Boat Festival in advance.

Tiny sachets, meticulously stitched together thread by thread, are filled with cotton and mugwort. In the soothing, handcrafted rhythm of slow time, we unwind, lose ourselves in the process, and savor the simple, heartfelt joy it brings.
