"Everyone talks about safety, and everyone knows how to respond in emergencies." To implement the requirements of the Office of the State Council Safety Committee and the Ministry of Emergency Management, Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group organized and held the 2023 "Safety Production Month" kickoff meeting on the morning of June 3rd. Senior company leaders, heads of key departments and workshops, as well as employee representatives attended the meeting.

Li Li, Executive Deputy General Manager of the company, delivers a speech.

Li Li, Executive Deputy General Manager of the company, delivered a speech, emphasizing that Safety Production Month should focus on the core theme of "Everyone Talks, Everyone Knows," aiming to achieve widespread safety awareness across the entire workforce. Through a series of engaging activities, the initiative will ensure that "safety consciousness reaches every employee and emergency preparedness skills are universally mastered," thereby solidifying a robust safety framework for the company’s operations and production.
Meanwhile, General Manager Li outlined several key requirements for the implementation of the Safety Production Month activities:
First, we must embrace a sense of responsibility—driven by the concern that "we can't afford to let our guard down"—to firmly and effectively enforce safety production responsibilities. We must seize the "Safety Production Month" campaign as an opportunity to drive all employees to fully and comprehensively fulfill their primary responsibilities for safety production. Managers at every level must strictly adhere to safety guidelines, push themselves harder, lead by example, set the tone from the top down, and take the initiative in assuming accountability—ensuring that safety efforts extend thoroughly both vertically and horizontally.
Second, we must cultivate a sense of urgency—recognizing that "time waits for no one"—to build momentum for publicity efforts while strengthening safety training and thematic education. Hang safety production slogans in key sections and critical areas of the factory premises, and fully leverage platforms like WeChat official accounts, LED screens, and bulletin boards to promote safety awareness, creating a strong public opinion atmosphere. Additionally, strengthen the implementation of three-level safety training programs and pre-job training, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all employees, thereby driving holistic improvements in safety management, safety expertise, and operational skills across the workforce.
Third, with a sense of mission rooted in "zero accidents and zero tolerance," we must strengthen emergency drills and enhance our ability to respond effectively to crises. The primary cause of most accidents is employees' weak safety awareness and a lack of emergency preparedness training. To learn from these incidents, we must strengthen emergency drills and maintain "zero tolerance" for both accidents and potential hazards.
Fourth, we must strengthen safety risk management and hazard identification with a sense of crisis—approaching every task as if walking on thin ice. Combine comprehensive inspections with targeted checks to fully implement the company's three-tiered inspection mechanism—covering corporate, departmental, workshop, and team levels. Pay special attention to key workshops, critical areas, major production facilities, and high-priority locations during these inspections. Remember, while inspections are essential, the real focus lies in effective整改 (rectification). Stay firmly problem- and result-oriented, proactively addressing potential hazards and ensuring timely corrective actions. Adopt a precise, diagnostic approach to deepen and broaden the effectiveness of daily safety management, ultimately enhancing both its depth and scope.

Safety Production Oath-Taking and Commitment Signing Ceremony

To strengthen safety production responsibilities and foster a strong awareness of safety red lines, all attendees took an oath.
I solemnly pledge: "Firmly uphold our safety mission and faithfully fulfill our safety commitments."
Attendees signed the safety commitment banner under the theme "Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows How to Respond," pledging to actively safeguard workplace safety with concrete actions.

Safety comes first—above all else. Responsibility is as heavy as Mount Tai. Safe production is a systematic endeavor that affects the entire organization, much like "one wrong move can unravel the whole structure." It’s also an urgent task where "a single step back could mean losing ground on every subsequent step." We must remain fully aware and stay constantly vigilant. I encourage everyone to give it your all, act swiftly, and diligently study and implement the spirit of the conference. Let’s work closely together to successfully carry out the series of Safety Month activities, ensuring that all tasks related to Safety Production Month are completed flawlessly.
