On December 18, 2021, the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine unveiled the highly anticipated 2021 Top 100 Traditional Chinese Medicine Enterprises at the TCM Industry Information Release Conference.
Following its inclusion in the "2020 Top 100 Traditional Chinese Medicine Enterprises" in 2020, Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group has once again earned a prestigious spot on the list. "2021 Top 100 Traditional Chinese Medicine Enterprises," ranked 87th.
Liu Zhanglin, Vice President of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, stated in his speech that the entry threshold for companies on the list reached 740 million yuan, an increase of 290 million yuan compared to 2020. Notably, there are now 10 enterprises with revenues exceeding 10 billion yuan—five more than last year—and 75 manufacturers generating between 1 billion and 10 billion yuan, up 14 from the previous year. Meanwhile, the number of companies with revenues below 1 billion yuan dropped to 15, a decrease of 19 compared to the same period last year. This trend underscores that the number of companies in the TCM industry possessing core competitive strengths is steadily growing year after year.
