Traveling thousands of miles across provinces to pick you up! Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group’s special shuttle bus returns to work, directly transporting employees back to their hometowns.

On February 24, 2020, a specially chartered bus carrying 19 employees of Wanbande Pharmaceutical Group safely arrived at the entrance of the company’s factory premises in Shaanxi Province. After disembarking, the employees presented their health codes, had their temperatures checked, verified their personal information, and disinfected their luggage before entering the厂区 one by one. Zhang Hanqiao, an employee who returned to Wenling on the chartered bus, shared his thoughts: "Wenling City’s initiative to provide thousands of buses for employees’ return demonstrates a government that is both visionary and deeply committed to its people. The company not only secured our spots on the bus but also prepared essential防疫 supplies and generous food gift packages for us. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, long-distance bus routes across multiple provinces, as well as intercity and inter-county services, have been suspended, leaving employees from other regions unable to return to work. To address this challenge, Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group has actively coordinated with relevant authorities. Following government guidelines and policies, the company has identified and mapped the locations of its out-of-town employees, ensuring thorough health assessments, streamlined approval processes for return-to-Wenzhou applications, facilitated online access to health codes, planned safe transportation routes to centralized pick-up points, and prepared essential防疫 gift bags—ultimately guaranteeing the safe return and resumption of work for all affected employees.
The employees who were picked up by the company’s special shuttle buses to return to work expressed their excitement upon receiving the company’s notification that vehicles were ready to escort them back. After learning about the traffic restrictions that had prevented them from resuming their jobs, the company promptly coordinated across departments, successfully obtained复工通行证 (work resumption permits), and even shared a comprehensive COVID-19 prevention guide via WeChat.
