A delegation led by President Lai Maode from China Pharmaceutical University visited and inspected Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group.

On August 10, President Lai Maode and his delegation from China Pharmaceutical University visited Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group for an inspection. They were warmly welcomed by Chairman Zhao Shouming and other senior leaders, who accompanied the group throughout the visit. This marks the university's second in-depth on-site调研 of Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group, following a similar visit by a delegation from the School of Pharmacy at China Pharmaceutical University on July 18. During the meeting, both sides reached a consensus on establishing a robust platform for university-industry collaboration and advancing collaborative projects that span research, education, and industry.
Accompanied by company leaders, Principal Lai Maode and his delegation toured the company’s exhibition hall. Chairman Zhao Shouming provided a detailed overview of the company’s core products—including Ginkgo Biloba Dropping Pills, Huperzine A, bromhexine hydrochloride APIs and tablets, cefaclor granules, and bifendate—highlighting their R&D innovations, business expansion areas, and future growth strategies. The delegation was particularly impressed by the company’s robust R&D capabilities, cutting-edge production equipment, and high-quality products, leading them to highly commend the company’s skilled technical talent pool and state-of-the-art R&D infrastructure.
During the upcoming symposium, Chairman Zhao Shouming outlined the company’s development plans for the coming years, with a particular focus on the vision for the Wanbangde Industrial Park. He expressed his hope to forge a powerful partnership with China Pharmaceutical University, taking a significant step forward in areas such as innovative drug research and development, collaborative industry-academia-research projects in medical devices, and the joint establishment of the "China Pharmaceutical University-Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group Internship Base." This collaboration aims to cultivate talent for the company while providing the university with a platform to bridge knowledge-based industries with patent commercialization—ultimately benefiting both organizations.
Finally, the exchange visit concluded in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere between both sides.
