Zhejiang Provincial Party Secretary Xia Baolong and his delegation visited Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group for research and inspection.

On June 26, Xia Baolong, Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, visited Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group for an inspection. Zhao Yide, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary-General of the Provincial Party Committee; Zhou Xianmiao, Secretary of the Wenling Municipal Party Committee; and Zhao Shouming, Chairman of Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group, accompanied him throughout the visit.
Secretary Xia Baolong and his delegation first visited the Formulation Building of Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group, touring the large-volume injectable flushing solution workshop, the small-volume injectable eye-drop workshop, and the drop pill workshop—three key production units. They also conducted an on-site inspection of the centrally funded, priority project: the "Drop Pill GMP Technology Upgrade Project." In addition, Secretary Xia paid close attention to the ginkgo leaf drop pill production line, expressing high appreciation for Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group’s significant investment in advanced equipment aimed at boosting productivity. He emphasized that ginkgo leaf drop pills have a wide range of applications, underscoring the critical importance of robust R&D efforts for the entire product portfolio. Secretary Xia further urged Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group to fully leverage its strengths, ramp up innovation and research, strengthen its marketing network, and expand its production capacity even further.
Finally, Secretary Xia Baolong listened to Chairman Zhao Shouming’s report on the company’s production operations, technological innovation, and product sales performance. Secretary Xia Baolong emphasized that Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group should pursue comprehensive development in the future, adopting a diversified growth strategy encompassing pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and healthcare services. In response, Chairman Zhao Shouming sincerely assured everyone that Wanbangde Pharmaceutical Group would never let down the leaders’ high expectations—and pledged to meticulously refine, specialize, and strengthen the company’s products.
