On the morning of September 3, 2012, Wanbang Pharmaceutical held an internal company meeting titled "Mobilization Meeting on Enterprise Management Standards in the New Landscape of the Pharmaceutical Industry" in the first-floor training room. Chairman Zhao Shouming delivered the keynote speech, and approximately 55 mid-to-senior-level company leaders attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Chairman Zhao Shouming emphasized that, in the context of the pharmaceutical industry's evolving landscape, advancing corporate management standardization is crucial for a company's growth and success. He urged all department heads to prioritize this initiative. He underscored that quality is the life-or-death determinant for any enterprise—indeed, the robustness of the company’s quality system directly dictates its survival. Therefore, leaders from all relevant departments must take the lead by maintaining meticulous oversight of quality control, ensuring tasks are allocated efficiently, and fostering a dedicated, high-caliber team committed to delivering safe, reliable products to the market. Moreover, Zhao highlighted that profitability serves as the fundamental driving force behind a company’s development. To achieve greater and more sustainable gains, businesses must not only focus on market dynamics and production excellence but also strengthen their commitment to standardized management. Specifically, he called for the implementation of three key areas of standardization: standardizing operational practices, standardizing workplace environments, and aligning employee behaviors with established norms. Additionally, he stressed the importance of transparency across three critical dimensions: openly communicating institutional assessments, clearly defining organizational goals and objectives, and ensuring full accountability in employees' job roles.

Finally, Dai Liangyou, the company leader in charge of administration, delivered a closing speech at the meeting, highlighting several ongoing management issues within the company, such as weak sense of responsibility and ownership, poor work efficiency, rigid thinking, and a lack of flexibility. He also emphasized that the traditional management model can no longer meet the demands of the new business environment. Therefore, refining and enhancing the management approach is crucial for driving standardized corporate practices and strengthening the company’s overall competitiveness.
